Hot Chip: In Our Heads album stream[!]

Yesterday Hot Chip released their fifth full length album, In Our Heads, their first release on Domino Records. I must say, I kind of forgot about this album dropping. Shame on me.

As I currently listen to it, it’s easy to tell how much they have matured since their 2006 debut LP, The Warning. You would think that’s a bad thing, since they released such hot records early on, but their ability to combine a seasoned sound with good old witty humor, seriously catchy, dancy tunes, allows them to keep their integrity and the same old Hot Chip sound we have always loved.

This album will be on repeat for months to come, loud and often. Surely, my neighbors will be humming these tunes on their way to work in the morning.
