I Break Horses: Hearts album stream

With ice-cold electronics and wintry grooves, I Break Horses debut album Hearts has us all ready for winter. The two Swedes, Maria Lindén and Fredrik Balck’s sound is frosty, and glowingly synth-laden…and we like it. I think my favorite track on their debut Hearts, has to be “I Kill Your Love, Baby!”, which comes with all the nuanced vocals and swirling sounds of you’d expect with a nu-gaze band.

While their influences include My Bloody Valentine & Slowdive, we like to think they sound a bit like ‘M83 lite’, as Rudifer has lovingly dubbed them. So turn it up! We’ve got the entire album streaming right here at S.O.
