Middle Brother live at Rolling Stone

I can’t get enough of Dawes, Deer Tick, Delta Spirit, so when I first heard that they were getting together to form the rock and roll ‘superband’ Middle Brother, I was ecstatic. Seriously, when I finish a Dawes album, I get kind of bummed that it’s over.

The guys stopped by the Rolling Stone office to perform an acoustic set featuring three songs — “Middle Brother,” “Thanks For Nothing” and “Blue Eyes” — from their debut album, Middle Brother, and then sat down for a quick chat, where they talked about the writing process, how they got started, and so on.

If you don’t know much about them, I highly recommend checking out the three bands mentioned earlier, thank me later.
