Porcelain Raft: Strange Weekend album stream

Brooklyn-based musician Porcelain Raft’s debut album, Strange Weekend, is available to stream for a week via Hype Machine.

Strange Weekend sounds like the work of a veteran artist, and rightfully so. Though this is Mauro Remiddi’s first album as Porcelain Raft, he has a collection of recorded material that was produced while he traveled throughout Europe, being influenced by different types of cultures and sounds. This 10-song LP is packed full of dream-pop hits, mixing the likes of M83 with Beach House and Placebo, making it easily one of the best albums of the year, so far! (mwahaha) Kidding aside, I mean it. Quality album.
