The 2 Bears: Be Strong album stream

You can finally stream The 2 Bears’ debut LP Be Strong through its entirety right here. Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard + Raf Daddy’s 2 Bears project finally gets the treatment it deserves with this full length.

The album falls into the house genre but with early 2000′s vibes, instead of today’s bigger house sound, and it’s packed with cheeky lyrics and elements that could only be pulled of by house veterans who don’t take the genre all that serious. Be Strong also boasts an overwhelming amount of Joe’s singing, which to me is a plus, but does make the record sound more electro-pop than I had expected.

Get familiar with these tracks, I’m sure they will be remixed over and over, and will even make their way onto summer mixes.
