During the promotion of then forthcoming album Underneath The Pine, Toro Y Moi had a “best Still Sound remix” going, where the winner would be featured in an official release of the single. We are delighted to announce our fourth release on Amazing Sounds will be an remix ep from the one of the most exciting artists working today, Toro Y Moi.
The Still Sound remix 12″ sees one of the stand out tracks from Toro Y Moi’s critically acclaimed sophomore album gets a reworking from the electronic mastermind that is Toby Tobias in booth a killer disco tinged vocal mix and a deeper dub version.
On the flip side we hear work from a new name, Voodoo Bear aka Khaled Bourguig, a French graphic design student who started making music 6 years ago. Initially inspired by Hip Hop, Khaled’s Voodoo Bear project blurs the line between electronic and organic music.
